Nestled behind the hustle and bustle of London’s infamous Greek Street, Kapara is one of Soho’s loudest and proudest LGBTQI+ owned businesses. We know what you’re thinking: “They must know how to throw a party,” and you are right. But this year, we have decided to let our food, drinks, and fabulous entertainment do the talking. Here’s how…
Last year, Kapara and the rest of James’ Court threw one hell of a street party and it was one for the books. This year, after considering the feedback from our fabulous customers we have decided to focus what we have become known for: our delicious food, drinks and atmosphere. This London Pride, we welcome you enjoy a special Pride Brunch which will include the menu you know and love, sumptuous pride cocktails and five star drag performances and DJ’s.
Whether you’re looking to make it the centrepiece of your day or are seeking a lively lunch amid your Pride festivities in the heart of town, Kapara has you covered. Renowned for our unique culinary offerings that blend Middle Eastern flavours with modern twists, we create a menu that delights every palate. Our decision to focus the day around our food, drink, and entertainment traces back to our chef Eran’s beginnings. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Eran has spent years crafting recipes, creating beautiful spaces, and perfectly pairing drinks to complement one another. We think you’ll agree.
As tongue-in-cheek as they come, quench your thirst with Kapara’s Special Pride cocktails (available from 22nd – 29th June). Created to celebrate the queer community and those who work at our restaurant, the ‘Butter Butt’ blends tequila, yuzushu, butternut squash and thyme jam with lime and lemon gazoz, whilst ‘Pump That Jam’ sees whiskey flirt with Cointreau and port, and mixed with honey strawberry gazoz, basil and soda. For all the shot queens, the ‘Rainbow Colada Cream’ is fruity and fabulous – think Malibu, pineapple, lime and cherry gazoz topped with blue vegan cream.
Half bread, half cake and full of love, we are giving our specialty a new rainbow look. Filled with pistachios and tahini cream, and served with crème anglaise and stewed plums, this bright Proud Babka dessert is chargrilled on the robata grill for a final flavour flourish and available across Pride weekend.
To give back to the community, throughout the month, we will be adding an optional £2 donation to every bill, which will be donated to Pride in London.
Book your table below between 11am-4.30pm on Saturday 29th June to be a part of our fabulous Pride event.
Join us at Kapara for a Bottomless Bank Holiday Brunch that you won’t want to miss! We’re ready to party all through the long weekend with bookings from 11am-4pm, Saturday 24th to Monday 26th of August.
The fun doesn’t stop at the two irresistible offers, the weekend will be accompanied by a soundtrack filled with divas and disco classics to make your bank holiday one to remember.
